Paper Trails - Volume 1

Domtar Paper wanted an educational piece that made the technical world of basis weights feel approachable and inspiring. They partnered with Design Ranch to create a book that showcased the Cougar line through both information and immersive storytelling. We developed a vibrant blend of paper education and mountain-biking energy. Bold color, neon Pantone accents, and dynamic photography bring the adventure to life, while tactile details like embossing, metallic foil, and gloss UV finishes highlight the paper’s capabilities. The project earned an Award of Excellence in Communication Arts’ 65th Design Annual, recognizing the craft and innovation behind the work.
