Romeo & Juliet - Show Design

The visual identity for the Romeo and Juliet production was designed to embody the raw passion and intensity of Shakespeare's work. To align with the director's emotional vision, I created a distinctive logotype that resembled jagged, torn paper, achieved by printing, cutting, and then digitally reassembling the words. This approach set the tone for the entire design system. By incorporating layers of text from the play along with torn paper elements, I produced dynamic compositions suitable for social media, posters, merchandise, and large-scale advertisements. This juxtaposition of imagery and fragmented materials effectively conveyed the tension, anger, and romance within the story, resulting in a visually striking identity that resonated with the emotional depth of the performance.
