Studio Local

Studio Local is an architecture practice dedicated to creating thoughtful, context-driven design with strong technical foundations. As they explored new directions for their identity, I developed a concept that highlighted their commitment to place and their meticulous approach to craft. The system centers on a structured, distinctive typeface and the foundational form of the square, a symbol of stability, clarity, and intention. By framing “local” within this shape, the identity reinforces the studio’s belief that meaningful architecture grows from an understanding of community and environment. Though this concept was not ultimately selected, it opened new avenues for visual exploration and demonstrated how their philosophy could translate into a bold and cohesive brand experience.
